In 2009, a group of local game developers founded what would eventually become GameCamp Edmonton—they were looking for a fun, casual way to find and connect with their peers. Since then, GameCamp Edmonton has become a registered non-profit. We serve a community of over 800 people and host regular programming such as our Weekly Friday Work Nights, Monthly Meet-Ups, Global Game Jam, Alberta Game Jam, Summer Picnics, and more!
